Shōji Yonemura (米村 正二,Yonemura Shōji, born June 7, 1964) is a Japanese writer fromFukuoka Prefecture. He is known mainly for his work inanime andtokusatsu.[1] After having graduated fromTokyo Zokei University, he worked as a freelance writer inArakawa and would attend various film festivals. Then, he studied underHiroshi Kashiwabara and others at a scenario course sponsored by theJapan Writers Guild. Awarded as winner of the 7th Otomo Shoji Award for scenario in 1994.[2][3]
