Seth Conner (born January 29, 1992) is an American professionalbaseballcoach. He is the assistanthitting coach for theTexas Rangers ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).
Conner attendedLogan-Rogersville High School inRogersville, Missouri.[1] He was drafted by theToronto Blue Jays in the 41st round of the2010 MLB draft and signed with them.[2] Conner spent the 2010 through 2016 season in the Toronto system, playing for theGCL Blue Jays,Bluefield Blue Jays,Vancouver Canadians,Lansing Lugnuts, and theNew Hampshire Fisher Cats.[3]
Conner began his coaching career in theLos Angeles Dodgers organization in 2017. He was an assistant coach for theGreat Lakes Loons in 2018.[4] He served as the hitting coach for theOgden Raptors in 2019.[5] He was set to be the hitting coach for Great Lakes in 2020 before the cancellation of theMinor League Baseball season due to theCOVID-19 pandemic.[6] He joined theMinnesota Twins organization and served as the hitting coach for theFlorida Complex League Twins in 2021.[7][8]
On January 6, 2022, Conner was named the assistant hitting coach of theTexas Rangers.[9]
