Sentry-459

[edit]

The Sentries' main purpose is to guard military outposts and depots throughout the Kree empire. Sentry-459 accompanies a Kree scientific party that journeys to Earth to experiment on sub-humans, which in turn creates theInhumans. When the Kree leave Earth, Sentry-459 remains to monitor Inhuman progress. Sentry-459 remains inert but observing until it is activated by theFantastic Four, who fight it to a standstill. Considering itself defeated when the Fantastic Four escape, the Sentry sends a signal to the Kree before deactivating.[1]

Sentry-459 is later reactivated byYon-Rogg, who sends it to attack his subordinateMar-Vell.[2][3][4][5] InBlackwulf (1995), Sentry-459 joins the Underground Legion, but is destroyed byRonan the Accuser.[6][7][8] InDamage Control (2023), Sentry-459 resurfaces and joins the teamHeavy Metal alongsideJocasta,Machine Man, andTESS-One.[9][10]
