Sengkang is a town in theSouth Sulawesi province ofIndonesia and it is the seat (capital) ofWajo Regency. It lies on the east side ofLake Tempe, and its 38.27 km2 area held 64,500 inhabitants in mid 2022,[1] divided among 16 urban villages (kelurahan).
Sengkang has atropical rainforest climate (Af) with moderate to heavy rainfall year-round.
