Sean Kennedy (born 24 April 1991) is aScotland 7s internationalrugby union player. His regular playing position isscrum-half. On 7 August 2019 he signed a one-year partnership contract withGlasgow Warriors which will also allow him to play withSuper 6 sideStirling County.[1]

Kennedy played forPro14 sideEdinburgh from 2011 until he was released in 2019. For the 2012–13 season he was on loan toGlasgow Warriors.[2]

International career

Kennedy has representedScotland Under 20 in the2011 IRB Junior World Championship andScotland 7s on the 2012 HSBC World Series.

In 2013 Kennedy was named in theScottish national team for the2013 Six Nations Championship.[3][4]

Kennedy received a call up to the seniorScotland squad by coachGregor Townsend on 22 May 2017 for the summer tour.[5]
