Sceloporus serrifer, therough-scaled lizard orYucatecan rough-scaled lizard, is aspecies ofphrynosomatidlizard.
It ranges from theUnited States in southernTexas, through the eastern states ofMexico, toCentral America inGuatemala andBelize.
Threesubspecies ofS. serrifer are recognized, including the nominate race, but the subspecies are known tointergrade in areas where their geographic ranges overlap, so differentiating them can be difficult.
