Sara Zaafarani Zenzari (Arabic:سارة زعفراني زنزري; born 26 January 1963)[1] is a Tunisian engineer and politician who was minister of equipment and housing from 11 October 2021 to 21 March 2025[2] and theprime minister of Tunisia since 21 March 2025.

She is Tunisia's third prime minister in less than two years[3] and Tunisia's secondfemale prime minister. She was appointed amid a severefinancial crisis in the country.[2]

Zaafrani is fluent in four languages:Arabic,French,German, andEnglish. She received a degree in civil engineering from theNational Engineering School of Tunis and a master's degree in geotechnical engineering from theUniversity of Hanover inGermany.[1]
