Sani people

Ethnic group native to China

TheSani people (撒尼人) are a branch of theYi people in China and speak theSani language a dialect of theYi language.[1] The Sani people live mainly in the central part ofYunnan, notablyShílín (formerly Lùnán) andYíliáng counties as well as inLúxī County.[2]
