Sagittaria is the stage name ofIván Flores (born 13 July 1998), a Spanish drag queen best known for competing on thefirst seasons ofDrag Race España andDrag Race España All Stars.

Career

In 2021, Sagittaria was cast on the reality competitionDrag Race España in its first season, which began airing on May 30, 2021.[1] Her drag name was directly inspired byAquaria, winner of thetenth season of the American seriesRuPaul's Drag Race, who named herself after herastrological sign,Aquarius. However, although Sagittaria's name is derived from theSagittarius sign, her actual sign isCancer.[2] During her run onDrag Race, she won one challenge (improv comedy) and placed in the bottom twice, winning lip-syncs againstDovima Nurmi (whom she was previously roommates with)[3] andPupi Poisson, and eventually positioned herself as one of the three season finalists.[4][5] The winner of the season wasCarmen Farala, and Sagittaria placed as the co-runner up alongsideKiller Queen.[6]

After the end of the broadcast of the season, Sagittaria was part of the national tour of theGran Hotel de las Reinas alongside her fellow contestants of the program, as well as hostSupremme de Luxe.[7] In 2022, she was part of the cast of the documentaryTacones sobre ruedas ("Heels on Wheels"), directed by Pau Canivell.[8] On June 24, 2023, she performed at theLGBT Pride event inLeón.[9] That same month, she participated in a photoshoot collaboration to demand LGBT rights along with a large number of fellow contestants fromDrag Race España andRuPaul's Drag Race UK contestantChoriza May.[10]

She cites her fashion influences to be thehairstyles of the 1950s, thefashion of the 1960s,Mugler, andVersace. Musically, her influences areLady Gaga,Madonna andKylie Minogue.[11]
