Sage Kambhoja orKumbhoja is a character in the Sanskrit epicRamayana, presented as a close friend of sageAgasti. Sage Agasti was brother of sage Vasishtha and was living as a hermit inDakshinapatha.[1]Rama,Lakshmana andSita had paid visit to the hermitage of sage Kambhoja, from there they had proceeded toPanchavati during theirvanwasa period before Sita was abducted byLankan kingRavana.
