Saburō Hyakutake (Japanese:百武三郎) (June 3, 1872 – October 30, 1963) was anImperial Japanese Navy admiral.

Biography

Hyakutake was born inSaga Prefecture. His younger brothersGengo andHarukichi also became high ranking military officers.

Hyakutake was a graduate of theImperial Japanese Naval Academy and theNaval War College. He was a veteran of theFirst Sino-Japanese War (1894–1895) and theRusso-Japanese War (1904–1905). He was GrandChamberlain of Japan (1936–1944). He was a recipient of theOrder of the Rising Sun and theOrder of the Sacred Treasure.[1]
