TheSRO GT Cup is asports car racing series based inChina organized bySRO Motorsports Group since 2025.

History

The inaugural season of the SRO GT Cup was announced on December 20, 2024, with two race weekends confirmed atShanghai (supporting theChinese Grand Prix) and at the new-for-2025 Beijing Street Circuit. All races are held inChina.[1] On April 8, 2025, it was annouced that the Pingtan Ruyi Lake International City Circuit would replace the second roundZhuhai International Circuit.[2]

Format

The race weekend consists of two 30 minute sprint races for one driver per car.[3]

Classes

There are two classes, Silver Cup and Am Cup. Drivers that are FIA Silver and Bronze rated are eligible to compete.[1]
