The Roman CatholicDiocese of Azul (Latin:Dioecesis Azulensis) is inArgentina and is a suffragan of theArchdiocese of La Plata.
On 20 April 1934,Pope Pius XI established the Diocese of Azul from theDiocese of La Plata. In 1957 territory was taken from this diocese to form theDiocese of Nueve de Julio.[1][2]
