Adolf Robert Zander (18 September 1895 – 27 June 1966) was a Swedishfootballer who played as agoalkeeper.[1]
Zander is best remembered for representingÖrgryte IS, which he helped win the1925–26 Allsvenskan.[2] He played in 57 games for the team between 1924 and 1927.[2] He also representedIFK Göteborg andRedbergslids IK during his career.[3][4]
A Swedish international between 1918 and 1926, Zander represented theSweden national team at the1920 and1924 Summer Olympics.[5] He won a total of 20caps for the Sweden national team and was namedStor Grabb in 1926.[6][7]
Zander is the great-grandfather of the current professional footballerGustav Ludwigson who played for Örgryte IS in 2018 and 2019.[8]
