TheRiyad Hijab government was the fourthSyrian government formed during the presidency ofBashar al-Assad. It was formed on 23 June 2012 and dissolved on 6 August 2012[1] after Prime MinisterRiyad Farid Hijab defected. He was later succeeded byWael Nader al-Halqi.[2]
