Andrew V. "Rip"King[2] (October 25, 1895 – March 4, 1950) was a professionalAmerican football player who played asfullback for six seasons for theAkron Pros,Chicago Cardinals, andHammond Pros of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football atWest Virginia University.
In March 1950, King died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound,[3] at the age of 54.
