Rina Satō (佐藤 利奈,Satō Rina, born May 2, 1981) is a Japanesevoice actress with hundreds of television and video game productions, many multi-year, and is active in film and as a singer as well.[1] She won the Best Lead Actress Award at the8th Seiyu Awards.[2] Satō has been appearing since 2003,[1] and as of 2016 was affiliated with a talent-management agency,[1] theTokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society (東京俳優生活協同組合, Tōkyō Haiyū Seikatsu Kyōdō Kumiai), also known as Haikyō (俳協).[citation needed]
Satō was born inKitakyushu City,[1]Fukuoka Prefecture.[3][4] She later relocated toYamaguchi Prefecture andHiroshima Prefecture, and then toEhime Prefecture.
