Redouane Berkane (Arabic:رضوان بركان;Tamazight: ⵔⴻⴷⵓⴰⵏⴻ ⴱⴻⵔⴽⴰⵏⴻ; born 7 July 2003) is an Algerian professionalfootballer who plays as astriker forJS Kabylie.
Redouane Berkane was born inTazmalt,Béjaïa,Kabylia.[1] In July 2023, coming fromOlympique Akbou in theAlgerian Ligue 3, he signed a three-year professional contract, withJS Kabylie.[2] He scored his first goal, in theAlgerian Ligue 1, againstUSM Alger, in October 2023.[3] In May 2024, with the JS Kabylie U21 team, he won theAlgerian League Cup U21 2023–24, against theES Sétif U21 team. He scored two goals in that final, one during the overtime and the other during the penalty shoot-out.[4] He finished the2023–24 season as the best goal scorer of the senior team of JS Kabylie, with eight goals.[5] In November 2024, he extended his contract, with JS Kabylie, until the end of the 2027–28 season.[6]
In November 2024, Redouane Berkane won a gold medal, with the Algeria Military football team, at the2024 African Military Games.[7]
In April 2025, he was called byMadjid Bougherra to play a decisive double confrontation againstGambia, with theAlgeria A' football team, as part of the second round of the qualifiers, for the2024 CHAN.[8]
