Ralph Edward "Primo" Miller (September 18, 1915 – February 19, 1999) was an American professionalfootballtackle who played two seasons with theCleveland Rams of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football atRice Institute.
Ralph Edward Miller was born on September 18, 1915, inSan Antonio, Texas.[1] He attendedBrackenridge High School in San Antonio.[1]
Miller playedcollege football for theRice Owls ofRice Institute.[1] He was aletterman in 1935.[1]
Miller signed with theGreen Bay Packers on July 29, 1936, but was released on September 22, 1936.[2]
Miller then played in one game, a start, for the independentLos Angeles Bulldogs during the 1936 season.[1] He was released by the Bulldogs on October 28, 1936.[2] He was also a member of the independentSalinas Iceberg Packers in 1936.[1]
Miller played in all 11 games, starting seven, for theCleveland Rams during the team's inaugural 1937 season and scored one touchdown on alateral.[3][4] He appeared in eight games, starting three, for the Rams in 1938 before his release on November 15, 1938.[2][3]
Miller died on February 19, 1999, inLockhart, Texas.
