The music was composed byDeva and lyrics written by Kalidasan.[3] The song "Raagam Ondru" was originally composed for the filmAdhikaalai Subavelai which never released.[4]

Ravikumar who made us laugh for two and half hours could have avoided double meaning dialogues at certain places.[6]
