In February 2024, it was announced that anaction-comedy film directed byLuke Greenfield and written byNeil Goldman was in development, withKevin James andAlan Ritchson cast in the lead roles.[1] In April,Sarah Chalke,Alan Tudyk,Stephen Root,Isla Fisher, Benjamin Pajak, and Banks Pierce joined the cast.[2][3]
Principal photography began on March 11, 2024, inVancouver, Canada, andwrapped on April 23.[2][4]
