Pietro Carpegna orPetrus de Carpinea (1592 – 19 June 1630) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served asBishop of Gubbio (1628–1630).[1][2][3]
Pietro Carpegna was born in Scaolini,Italy in 1592.[4]On 11 December 1628, he was appointed during the papacy ofPope Urban VIII asBishop of Gubbio.[1][4]On 6 January 1629, he was consecrated bishop byAntonio Marcello Barberini,Cardinal-Priest ofSant'Onofrio, serving as co-consecrators.[4] He served as Bishop of Gubbio until his death on 19 June 1630.[4]
