Perinaldo (Ligurian:Preinoud[3]) is acomune (municipality) in theProvince of Imperia in theItalian region ofLiguria, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) southwest ofGenoa and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) west ofImperia.

It is one ofI Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").[4] It is the birthplace of the 17th-century Italian naturalised French astronomerGiovanni Domenico Cassini.
