Pediatric pathology is the sub-specialty ofsurgical pathology which deals with thediagnosis and characterization ofneoplastic and non-neoplasticdiseases ofchildren.[1] The duties of pediatricpathologists can be divided into two categories: the examination oftissue samples, and the performingautopsies andplacental examinations.[2]
