Palnati Pourusham (pronounced[palnaːʈipaːuruʃaⁿ]) is a 1994 IndianTelugu-language film directed byMuthyala Subbaiah starringKrishnam Raju,Radhika andCharan Raj. It is a remake of the 1993Tamil filmKizhakku Cheemayile.[1] The film was released on 29 July 1994.[2]

A brother and sister share a close bond with each other. When the sister gets married, her husband dislikes the bond, due to which problems arise between the couple.

The film was shot atKattunga village in Atreyapuram.[3]

The soundtrack features songs composed byA. R. Rahman with lyrics by debutant Sivaganesh, D. Narayanavarma, Vennelakanti, andJaladi.[4] All of the songs (except O Silku Papa), were reused from the original film,Kizhakku Cheemayile.[5]
