Ouve-Wirquin (French pronunciation:[uvviʁkɛ̃];Picard:Houffe-Wirquin;West Flemish:Ouve-Werchin) is acommune in thePas-de-Calaisdepartment in theHauts-de-France region ofFrance.[3]

Geography

Ouve-Wirquin lies about 10 miles (16 km) southwest ofSaint-Omer, on the junction of the D225 and the D341, the route of theRoman road theChausée Brunehaut. The riverAa flows through the commune.

Transport

TheChemin de fer d'Anvin à Calais opened a railway station at Ouve-Wirquin in 1881.[5] The railway was closed in 1955.[6]
