Otis Livingston is a weekday sports anchor atWCBS-TV in New York City and is a sideline reporter onCBS Sports. He has won numerous Emmy Awards.

Biography

Livingston has been with WCBS since 2010.

In New York, he also worked withWNBC-TV. He reported on theNBA Finals, theStanley Cup Finals, theWorld Series, theU.S. Open Tennis Championships, theU.S. Open Golf Championship, theTriple Crown, and theNew York City Marathon. He also served as anchor and reporter for theOlympics on NBC. He was the sideline reporter for theNew York Giants preseason and serves the same capacity for theNew York Jets. He works with play-by-play announcerIan Eagle and color commentatorGreg Buttle.

Livingston was also previously a weekend sports anchor and weekday sports reporter forWWOR-TV andWTVO-TV.

While at NBC, Livingston reported for NBC Sports from the2004 Summer Olympics and the2006 Winter Olympics. For CBS Sports, Livingston has served as a sideline reporter forSEC on CBS football games and theNCAA tournament.

Personal life

Otis Livingston graduated from theUniversity of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications. He is a member of theFellowship of Christian Athletes. He is also a member of the New Jersey Music Workshop for the Arts. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and five children.

Livingston spent one season playingpoint guard for the1987–88 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team. He was suspended and then quit or was kicked off the team by coachLarry Brown before the Jayhawks won theNCAA championship. He later covered Brown and hisPhiladelphia 76ers as a reporter forWPHL-TV.[1]

His son, also named Otis, played for theGeorge Mason Patriots men's basketball team.[2]
