TheOld Dublin Society (Irish:Cumann Seandacht Átha Cliath) was founded in 1934.[1] Its mission is to promote the history ofDublin and its citizens.[2]

Membership

Membership of the society is open to everyone interested in the history of Dublin and Dubliners, most of whom are amateurs though there are some professional historians who are members.[1]

Publications

TheDublin Historical Record is the journal of the society.[2]

The Library of the Old Dublin Society is located in theRoyal Dublin Society (RDS) premises, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.[3]
