TheNiwer Mil language is spoken by 9,033 people[1] onBoang Island,Malendok Island,Lif Island andTefa Island in theTanga Islands,Namatanai District ofNew Ireland Province inPapua New Guinea. It was split from theTangga language in 2013. It is one of the languages that form theSt George linkage group ofMeso-Melanesian languages.[2][3][4]
