Nilayananda Dutta (1952/3 – 19 September 2021)[1] was an Indian lawyer, cricket administrator, andcricket umpire. The only international match he officiated in was aOne Day International in 1990.[2] He was a senior advocate in theSupreme Court of India[3] and an official of theAssam Cricket Association.[4] He was a member of the three-memberMudgal Committee (headed by JusticeMukul Mudgal and comprising formerAdditional Solicitor General of IndiaL Nageswara Rao as the other member) formed to probe the2013 Indian Premier League spot-fixing and betting case.[4][5]
