Nesh (Pashto:نېش ولسوالۍ,Persian:ولسوالی نیش) is a mountainousdistrict in the northern part ofKandahar Province, shifted fromOruzgan Province,Afghanistan. It borders Oruzgan Province to the west, north and east andShah Wali Kot,Khakrez andGhorak districts to the south. The population is 14,884 (2019).[1] The district center is the village ofNaish, located in the central part of the district.
