Nantenine is analkaloid found in the plantNandina domestica[1] as well as someCorydalis species.[2] It is anantagonist of both theα1-adrenergic receptor[3] and theserotonin5-HT2A receptor,[4] and blocks both the behavioral and physiological effects ofMDMA in animals.[5]
