NGC 7582 is aspiral galaxy of theHubble type SB(s)ab in the constellationGrus. It has an angular size of 5.0' × 2.1' and anapparent magnitude of 11.37. It is about 70 millionlight years away fromEarth and has a diameter of about 330,000 light years. The galaxy is classified as aSeyfert 2 galaxy, a type ofactive galaxy. This galaxy is in the upper middle west part of theVirgo Supercluster.[1] Thesupermassive black hole at the core has a mass of5.5+2.6
−1.9
×107 M
