TheMunicipality of Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici (pronounced[ˈsʋeːtiˈjuːɾii̯ɔpˈʃtʃaːu̯nitsi];Slovene:Občina Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici) is amunicipality in the traditional region ofStyria in northeasternSlovenia. The seat of the municipality is the town ofSveti Jurij ob Ščavnici. Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici became a municipality in 1994.[2]
