TheMunicipality of Beltinci (pronounced[ˈbeːltintsi];Slovene:Občina Beltinci) is amunicipality in thePrekmurje region of northeasternSlovenia. Its seat is the settlement ofBeltinci. The municipality has 8,256 inhabitants. It was asanjak under the nameBalatin that initially belonged to theBudin Eyalet, and later theKanije Eyalet, duringOttoman rule before theTreaty of Karlowitz.
