TheMontgomery Creek Rancheria is a federalIndian reservation belonging to members of thePit River Tribe, afederally recognized tribe ofindigenous people of California. Theranchería is located inShasta County in northernCalifornia.[1]
Established in 1915, Montgomery Creek Rancheria is 109 acres (440,000 m2) large[2] and is located in the unincorporated community ofMontgomery Creek, about 35 miles northeast ofRedding, California.
The ranchería is served by theMountain Union Elementary School District andShasta Union High School District.
