Mohammed Darweesh (Arabic:مُحَمَّد دَرْوِيش,Hebrew:מוחמד דרוויש; born 2 June 1991) is a professionalfootballer who plays as adefensive midfielder forHilal Al-Quds of the West Bank Premier League. Born in Israel, he represents thePalestine national team.[2]
Darweesh became a member of thePalestine national football team and earned his first cap in June 2015 in a2018 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Saudi Arabia.[citation needed] Darweesh played in all six of Palestine's2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification matches.[citation needed]
