Mizhhiria Raion (Ukrainian:Міжгірський район) was araion ofZakarpattia Oblast in westernUkraine. Itsadministrative center was theurban-type settlement ofMizhhiria. The raion was abolished and its territory was merged intoKhust Raion on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Zakarpattia Oblast to six.^[1]^[2] The last estimate of the raion population was47,360 (2020 est.)^[3]
