Miss Grand Pathum Thani (Thai :มิสแกรนด์ปทุมธานี ) is a Thai provincialbeauty pageant which selects a representative fromPathum Thani province to theMiss Grand Thailand national competition.[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4] นัญญภัสว์ คชสาร [ 5]
Pathum Thani representatives have yet to win theMiss Grand Thailand title. The highest placement obtained by its representatives was the first runner-up, won in 2020 and 2024 by Indy Johnson and Kanyaphatsaphon Rungrueang.[ 6] [ 7] COVID-19 -related cancellation of the 2021 national contest.[ 8]
In 2016, afterMiss Grand Thailand began franchising the provincial competitions to individual organizers, who would name seventy-seven provincial titleholders to compete in the national pageant, the license forPathum Thani province was granted to Nanyaphat Kotchasan, who organized the first Miss Grand Pathum Thani contest on May 15, 2016, inRangsit , and Suphattra Rodphai was named the winner.[ 5]
After Kotchasan relinquished the franchise in 2019, it was granted to different organizers annually[ 4] [ 9] [ 10]
The pageant was skipped once; in 2021, due to theCOVID-19 pandemic in Thailand , the national organizer was unable to organize the national event, and the country representative for theinternational tournament was appointed instead.[ 8]
