Miss Grand Nakhon Phanom (Thai :มิสแกรนด์นครพนม ) is a Thai provincialbeauty pageant which selects a representative fromNakhon Phanom province to theMiss Grand Thailand national competition.[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4] ปรีมาศ เหมะธุลิน [ 5]
Nakhon Phanom produced one Miss Grand Thailand,Arayha Suparurk , who won the contest in 2019.[ 6] Kamonwalai Prajakrattanakul [zh ] ,[ 7] [ 8] reality competition show ,Chuang Asia: Thailand , and was elected as one of the final 9 members debuting asGen1es .[ 8]
In 2016, afterMiss Grand Thailand began franchising the provincial competitions to individual organizers, who would name seventy-seven provincial titleholders to compete in the national pageant. The license forNakhon Phanom province was granted to an event organizer led by Preemart Hemathulin,[ 5] Isan contests, includingYasothon ,Amnat Charoen ,Surin , andMaha Sarakham .[ 9] Mueang Maha Sarakham ,[ 9] [ 10]
In addition to the 2016 contest, the pageant was organized outsideNakhon Phanom province twice: the 2022 edition inBangkok [ 11] Nonthaburi .[ 12]
The pageant was skipped once; in 2021, due to theCOVID-19 pandemic in Thailand , the national organizer was unable to organize the national event, and the country representative for theinternational tournament was appointed instead.[ 13]
