Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS University), formerlyMeerut University, is a public state university located inMeerut,Uttar Pradesh,India. The university was established in 1965.[1] It was later renamed to its current name afterChaudhary Charan Singh, formerPrime minister of India.[1] The university celebrated its silver jubilee in 1991.
