TheMazda EZ-6 is amid-size car (D-segment) produced byMazda through its joint venture,Changan Mazda in China since 2024. Available with a purebattery electric powertrain or as anextended-range electric vehicle (EREV), the EZ-6 is co-developed withChangan Automobile, and uses the same EPA platform used by theDeepal L07 liftback. The EZ-6 will also be available in the European market as theMazda 6e.[1][2]
The EZ-6 was introduced at theBeijing Auto Show in April 2024.[3] It will go on sale in mid-2024 with an option of battery electric powertrain and extended-range EV (EREV).[4][5][6] The battery electric model has an estimated electric range of 600 km (373 mi) underCLTC standards. It is claimed to have a 50-50weight distribution.[7]
The EZ-6 is equipped with a 14.6-inch central screen, powered with theQualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip to integrate the control of air conditioning, seats, entertainment and other functions. It is also equipped with a 14-speakerSony sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, front "zero-gravity" seats, a 50-inchARhead-up display (AR-HUD), and a glass roof.[8]

The EZ-6 went on sale in China in October 2024.[9]
The vehicle was introduced in Europe at theBrussels Motor Show on 10 January 2025 as the Mazda 6e. It will go on sale in mid-2025. Only the battery electric (BEV) version is offered. For the European market, a larger 80 kWh battery (not available in China) is available as an option.[10][11]
