Marilène GillMP (born 1977) is a Canadian politician who was elected to theHouse of Commons in the2015 federal election,[2] where she represents theriding ofManicouagan as a member of theBloc Québécois (BQ).[2]
Since 2021 she has served as Deputy whip and critic of indigenous and northern affairs in theBloc Québécois Shadow Cabinet.[3]
Gill was one of three BQMembers of Parliament (MPs) who supportedMartine Ouellet's leadership during acaucus revolt and remained with the caucus when seven MPs resigned on February 28, 2018 to sit as Independents.[4]
Gill is married to fellow BQ MPXavier Barsalou-Duval.[1]
