Vimal Venkatesan[5] was cast in the male lead role as Vijayakumar after his role as Karthikeyan inZee Tamil`sPeranbu,[6] while actress Nikitha Rajesh was cast as the female lead role as Malli, marking her return afterZee Tamil`sSuryavamsam.[7][8]Roja serial fame Akshaya Mohan Kumar,[9] veteran actressNalini,[10][11]Poornima Bhagyaraj joined the cast.[11]

On 3 June 2024, actressAmbika was cast as Pothum Ponnu.[12]
