Lystrosauridae is afamily ofdicynodonttherapsids from thePermian andTriassic time periods. It includes two genera,Lystrosaurus andKwazulusaurus.[6]Kwazulusaurus includes a single species,K. shakai, from theLate Permian of South Africa[7] andLystrosaurus includes many species from the Late Permian andEarly Triassic of South Africa, India, and Antarctica.[1]
