Lucy McEvoy (born 13 May 2001) is anAustralian rules footballer playing for theSydney Swans in theAFL Women's (AFLW). McEvoy was drafted by Carlton with their first selection and second overall in the2019 AFL Women's draft.[1] She made her debut againstRichmond atIkon Park in the opening round of the2020 season.[2] She signed a 2-year contract withCarlton on 10 June 2021, after it was revealed the team had conducted a mass re-signing of 13 players.[3]In March 2023, McEvoy joinedSydney during thepriority signing period.[4][5]
