TheLou Groza Award is presented annually to the topcollege footballplacekicker in the United States by thePalm Beach County Sports Commission. The award is named after formerOhio State Buckeyes andCleveland Browns playerLou Groza. It has been presented since 1992, withJoe Allison ofMemphis State receiving the inaugural award. The incumbent award holder isKenneth Almendares of theUniversity of Louisiana at Lafayette. The award is part of theNational College Football Awards Association coalition.
