Memramcook is the largest village in New Brunswick with a population of 4,831
Casselman is the largest village in Ontario with a population of 3,626[1]

Avillage is a type of incorporated municipality within the majority of theprovinces and territories ofCanada.

As of January 1, 2012, there were 550 villages among the provinces ofAlberta,British Columbia,Manitoba,New Brunswick, theNorthwest Territories,Ontario,Quebec,Saskatchewan andYukon. Since then,Kedgwick in New Brunswick changed torural community status[2] andNew Norway in Alberta dissolved to become an unincorporatedhamlet,[3] while bothHepburn andPense in Saskatchewan changed totown status.[4] Saskatchewan has the greatest number of villages at 264.[4][5]
