List of variable stars

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As of 2017[update], there are over 52,011 knownvariable stars,[1] with more being discovered regularly, so a complete list of every single variable is impossible at this place (cf.GCVS). The following is alist of variable stars that are well-known, bright, significant, or otherwise interesting.

This is adynamic list and may never be able to satisfy particular standards for completeness. You can help byadding missing items withreliable sources.
