Lions Air is acharter airline based inZürich,Switzerland. It operates air charter and business services, using fixed-wing aircraft andhelicopters.[1]
The airline was established in 1986 by Jürg Fleischmann.[1] In June 2005 Lions Air planned to lease aMcDonnell Douglas MD-80 to start charter flights from Zurich andGeneva toPristina,Sarajevo andSkopje, but abandoned the plan later in the year.[2]
